Please give me the answer to the A-level Biology Question How do I explain the process of Natural Selection?
A-level Biology Help >>>>> How can I explain the concept in Natural Selection? VOSSAG V – Variation: all organisms experience various amount of genetic variation caused by environmental factors or genetic mutations (such as geographical distance). O Overpopulation: all populations can be overpopulated in an area. S (Selection): The overpopulation can cause pressures for selection in the population. S"Survival of the Fittest Only the most fit people can withstand this pressure of selection. (n.b. the term "fittest" in this context doesn't necessarily mean'most physically fit'. Any benefit developed by a species which makes it better suited to the environment it is in will be chosen for and be able to endure (e.g. the camouflage of ghecko)) A Adaptation: organisms that survive are adapting to their surroundings. G - Genes that are passed on Advantageous genes are passed on to the next generations. This guideline should be modified to make it relevant to the specific question (i.e. specifically tailored for the specific organism identified within the inquiry).
